Unsteady-State Permeameter and Porosimeter (Overburden)

Function. Measures porosity and permeability to gas (helium/nitrogen) of plug-sized core samples at overburden confining pressure by unsteady-state method.

Controlled. Overburden confining pressure (reference 400 to 10,000 psi); gas pressure decay.

Measured. Porosity and gas permeability at stress.
