Radial Core Slabbing Saw

The Radial Core Slabbing Saw (model CT-PREP-SLAB) cuts full-diameter core in half lengthwise or trims full-diameter rock with a diamond-impregnated radial blade. It belongs to the core preparation range and is used together with the trim saw, plugging machines and end-face grinders listed in the same range.

How it works

The blade is 400 mm (16 in) in diameter and gives a maximum cutting depth of 125 mm (5 in). Core up to 300 mm long is handled per cut. Feed and cut depth are the controlled variables: the operator sets the depth of cut and controls the feed of the core against the blade. The blade is run wet; water and oil are both listed as compatible coolants.

The saw is supplied for 220 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz, and weighs 100 kg.
