Sample Restoration Apparatus
The Sample Restoration Apparatus (CT-PVA-SRA) brings a reservoir fluid sample, still in its sample cylinder, back to reservoir-representative pressure and temperature before it is transferred to a PVT cell or other analysis. It belongs to the PVT accessories group together with gas boosters, pressure generators and heated cylinder trolleys. The unit heats and agitates the mounted cylinder and regulates temperature from ambient to 200 °C.
How it works
The sample cylinder mounts directly in the apparatus, and the unit is portable. Cylinders of 80 to 100 mm diameter and 500 to 750 mm length are accepted as standard, other sizes on request. Heating raises the cylinder to the set temperature with a stated accuracy of ±5 °C, and agitation keeps the sample mixed while it is held at conditions. Pressure restoration is controlled in parallel. The restored pressure and temperature are the reported conditions of the sample.
The pressure rating and the pressurizing method are project-dependent. Power supply is 220 VAC, 50 Hz.
