Stainless-Steel Fluid Transfer Vessel

The Stainless-Steel Fluid Transfer Vessel (CT-FS-FTVSS) is a low-pressure stainless steel container for moving test fluids into the high-pressure, high-temperature accumulators installed in the air bath of a core analysis system. It is listed for brine, oil, mud, drilling fluid and acid mixtures. The maximum pressure is 200 psi and the listed volume is 2 liters.

How it works

The vessel is filled with the prepared fluid, closed and pressurized. Transfer pressure is the controlled variable and pushes the fluid out toward the accumulator. Transferred volume is the measured variable. The 200 psi rating covers the transfer step only; pressures inside the accumulators and the test loop are set by that equipment, not by this vessel. The pressure source, valves, connections and volume readout are defined per project.
