Socket Welding Flange Class 150-Class 1500
The Socket Welding Flange is a stainless steel pipe flange to ANSI B16.5 in pressure classes 150 through 1500, sizes 1/2 in. to 24 in. Material is SS316 or SS304. The sealing surface is raised face (RF). The pipe end is inserted into the socket bore and fillet welded on the outside. It belongs to the ANSI flange group, which also covers weld neck, slip-on, blind, threaded, lap joint and ring joint types.
How it works
The pipe seats in the socket, the fillet weld carries the joint, and the raised face with a gasket seals against the mating flange under bolt load. Flange class is selected to match the pressure and temperature of the line. Minimum order quantity is 10 pieces.
