Air-Driven Pump 10 Series, Single Drive / Double Acting
The Air-Driven Pump 10 Series, Single Drive / Double Acting (CT-AP-10-SDDA) is a compressed-air driven reciprocating pump in which one air drive section works a double-acting hydraulic section, so liquid is delivered on both strokes. Five standard ratios, from 34:1 to 304:1, cover tabulated outlet pressures from 4,250 psi to 38,000 psi, with flow up to 45.5 l/min on the lowest ratio. The pump handles hydraulic fluids, plain or deionized water, solvents and liquefied gases. Wetted materials are selectable, and the pump can be quickly repaired.
How it works
Drive air at 10 to 125 psi (0.7 to 8.6 bar) enters the 3/4 in female NPT air port of the standard pump. Outlet pressure is set by the air drive pressure and the ratio. At that pressure the pump stalls and holds without consuming energy, with no electrical supply. Displacement per cycle runs from 350 ml at 34:1 down to 40.5 ml at 304:1. All models take liquid through a 3/4 in FNPT inlet.
