Air-Driven Pump 06 Series, Long Stroke Single Drive / Double Acting
The Air-Driven Pump 06 Series, Long Stroke Single Drive / Double Acting (CT-AP-06-LSSD) is a reciprocating liquid pump driven by compressed air. One air drive piston acts on a long-stroke, double-acting hydraulic section, so liquid is delivered on both directions of the stroke. Five ratios cover output pressures from 1,000 psi to 10,000 psi (690 bar) and flows up to 132 l/min. The pump handles hydraulic fluids, plain or deionized water and solvents, with a choice of wetted materials.
How it works
Drive air at 3 to 125 psi (0.2 to 8.6 bar) enters the 3/4 in FNPT air port and reciprocates the drive piston. The area ratio between the drive piston and the hydraulic plunger multiplies the air pressure, so output pressure is the drive pressure times the pump ratio. When the outlet reaches the pressure set by the air supply, the pump stalls and holds that pressure without consuming energy; it restarts as soon as pressure falls. No electrical supply is required. The liquid inlet is 1-1/4 in FNPT on all models.
