Double Ferrules Tube Union Elbows

Double Ferrule Tube Union Elbows turn a tubing run through a corner while keeping a leak-tight seal at both ends. The listed model SS-UE-FT8 is stainless steel SS316 for 1/2 in OD tube, rated 689 bar and 454 °C (849 °F). It is a compression type fitting with sleeve installation and a UNF nut thread. How it works

The tube end is pushed into the fitting body and the nut is tightened. The back ferrule drives the front ferrule against the body cone, where it seals, and the front ferrule swages onto the tube for grip. Two tubes meet at the elbow body without an added joint, which is how the elbow routes lines around obstacles in instrument and process assemblies.
