Male Thread Non-Return Valve
The Male Thread Non-Return Valve (SS-RHM) is a stainless steel, spring-loaded check valve with NPT, BSPT or BSPP male threads. It passes flow in one direction and blocks reverse flow. In a line it protects pumps and instruments from backflow, stops a pump from being unseated and keeps incompatible fluids apart.
How it works
A spring holds the closing element on its seat. Forward flow opens the valve; when flow stops or reverses, the spring and the back pressure close it. Sealing is by gasket. Listed media are water, oil, gas and alkaline or acidic liquids, over -65 to 300 °F (-54 to 150 °C). Listed standard: ANSI. Size range, pressure rating and cracking pressure are stated in the project datasheet. Female thread and single-ferrule versions are offered in the same group.
