Female Thread Non-Return Valve
The Female Thread Non-Return Valve (SS-RHAI) is a stainless steel, spring-loaded check valve with NPT, BSPT or BSPP female threads. It lets flow pass in one direction and blocks reverse flow, which protects pumps and instruments from backflow and keeps incompatible fluids from mixing. Listed sizes run from 1/8 in to 2 in.
How it works
A spring holds the closing element on its seat. Forward flow lifts it off the seat; when flow stops or reverses, the spring and the back pressure close it. Sealing is by gasket. Listed media are water, oil, gas and alkaline or acidic liquids, over -65 to 300 °F (-54 to 150 °C). Listed standard: ANSI. No pressure rating or cracking pressure is given; both are stated in the project datasheet. Male thread and single-ferrule versions are offered in the same group.
