Integral Bonnet Male Thread Needle Valves

The Integral Bonnet Male Thread Needle Valve (SS-BN-MPT) is a stainless steel SS316 needle valve with external (male) threaded ends, manually operated, for metering and isolation in instrument and analytical lines. Port sizes run from 1/8 to 3/4 in. Media temperature range is -65 to 450 F. It handles water, oil, gas and alkaline or acidic liquids.

How it works

The bonnet is machined as part of the valve body rather than fitted as a separate threaded component. This removes the body-to-bonnet joint as a leak path. Turning the handle moves the needle stem toward or away from the seat, so the flow area can be set finely for metering or closed for isolation. Male threads on both ends screw directly into female ports on instruments or manifolds.
