Deviatoric triaxial cell LEDC series

  • The LEDC-series deviatoric triaxial cells are specifically designed for rock triaxial tests that do not require an external frame to apply axial loads. The cell includes a hydraulic built-in deviator chamber to apply the axial load on the specimen. The sample is fitted into a Teflon sleeve between hardened steel endcaps and the assembly is immersed in confining pressurized oil.

Electrical feed-through connectors are embedded at the cell base to allow the use of in-vessel instrumentation. Top & bottom pore fluid ports at both upper and lower platens are an integral feature of the cell architecture. Different diameter platens can be supplied to perform custom sample geometry tests. If required, the cell can also be provided with a heating mantle.
