Precision Hot Air Oven
The Precision Hot Air Oven (LEGIO series) is a forced-convection oven for drying, curing and heat treatment of products, materials and components. Six chamber sizes are listed, LEGIO-072 to LEGIO-1000, from 450 x 400 x 400 mm to 1200 x 1000 x 600 mm inside. Horizontal and vertical layouts are offered.
How it works
A sirocco fan circulates air over a SUS304 stainless steel heater and through the chamber in a horizontal flow across the shelves. A touch screen controller, or a digital controller with a solid state relay, holds the set point. Two-step programming covers automatic start, stop, ramp and repeat; an upgrade adds up to ten programs for cycling work. An exhaust damper ventilates the chamber and shortens cool-down. A specimen power supply terminal switches the load off if the chamber faults. Overheat protection is four-tiered, and visual and audible alarms carry a diagnostic fault code.
The standard range is room temperature +10 °C to +200 °C, with 300, 500, 600 and 700 °C versions and customization available. Performance is fluctuation ±3 °C, uniformity ±0.1 °C at 200 °C and ±1.5% at 300 °C, resolution 0.1 or 1 °C, and heating to 500 °C in 30 min. The inner chamber is SUS304 stainless steel, the exterior powder-coated stainless steel plate, with PU and fiberglass wool insulation. Power is 4 to 15 kW by model, on single-phase 110 V or 220 V or three-phase 380 V, 50/60 Hz.

- Offers two types of standard models: the space-saving vertical ovens and the horizontal ovens. Both provide horizontal airflow for even exposure to all samples. An exhaust damper is included to ventilate the oven and allow quick cool-down.
- The standard controller offers two-step programming for simple heat-up or shut-down steps. An inexpensive upgrade allows creation of up to ten programs for full cycling applications. The large display is easy to use and read. Four levels of overheat protection are included for safety. A wide variety of options are also available.
