Female Thread Hex Couplings
Female Thread Hex Couplings (SS-THC) are stainless steel high pressure pipe fittings that join two male threaded ends in a straight line. The body has female threads and a hex outer form for wrench tightening. They belong to the Coretest stainless steel pipe fitting range for process and instrumentation piping.
How it works
Each male end threads into the coupling, and installation is by thread only. The listed rating is 689 bar and the listed working temperature is 454 °C (849.2 °F). Pressure derating at temperature for a given line is stated in the project datasheet. Port sizes run from 1/16 in to 2 in. The description names NPT female threads, and the thread list adds UNF, UNC, BSPT and BSPP. Minimum order is 20 pieces.
