3 Way Double Ferrules Integral Forged Needle Valves 6000PSI

The 3-Way Double Ferrule Integral Forged Needle Valve, model SS-FN-FT-3W, is a manual stainless steel valve rated 6000 psi with three double ferrule tube connections formed in a single forged body. It provides metering and isolation in high pressure instrument lines carrying water, oil, gas, and alkaline or acidic liquids, at media temperatures of -65 to 450 °F (-54 to 230 °C).

How it works

Turning the handle drives the needle stem toward its seat to throttle or shut off flow between the three ports. Each port is a double ferrule compression end: as the nut is tightened, the front ferrule seals on the body and the back ferrule grips the tube. Because the connections are forged integral with the body, there are fewer joints and fewer potential leak paths than with a valve fitted with separate adapters. Tube sizes are 1/8 to 1 in or 3 to 25 mm.
