Miniature Type Gauge Valves

The Miniature Type Gauge Valve (SS-GVB-MN8-FN8) is a stainless steel, manually operated valve that isolates a pressure gauge or instrument from the process line. The standard item has a 1/2 in NPT male inlet and a 1/2 in NPT female outlet and is rated to 6000 psi. Media temperature range is -65 to 450 F (-54 to 230 C).

How it works

The valve is threaded between the process connection and the gauge. Closing it blocks the line so the gauge can be removed, serviced or calibrated without draining the system, and protects the gauge during the swap. It suits water, oil, gas and alkaline or acidic liquids within the pressure and temperature limits stated. A standard type gauge valve is offered in the same group for larger installations.
