Carbon Steel Single Ferrule Swivel Nut Elbow

The Carbon Steel Single Ferrule Swivel Nut Elbow (model CS-EW-L) is a bite type tube fitting to DIN 2353 / ISO 8434-1, light series, in galvanized carbon steel. It joins a tube end to a swivel nut connection through an elbow body, for tube sizes 6L to 42L (6 mm to 42 mm), and is listed at 350 bar.

How it works

A single cutting ferrule, or sleeve, is compressed onto the tube by the nut; the ferrule edge bites into the tube wall to hold and seal it. The swivel nut on the other leg lets the elbow be oriented before the joint is tightened. Thread types offered are BSPT, UNF and UNC. The fitting is listed for high temperature service, with CE and ISO 9001 certification. It belongs to the carbon steel hydraulic fitting range, used on high-pressure hydraulic lines where steel strength matters more than corrosion resistance.
