Laboratory Reactor LELRSET500 Series

  • The LELRSET500 Series laboratory reactor is designed to work with high pressure and high temperature. High-quality materials with relevant certificates are used in the production of LELRSET500 laboratory reactors. Thanks to precision fitting of parts, our reactors are convenient and reliable. Autoclaves undergo testing at pressures more than two times higher than the nominal pressure.

    The laboratory reactor design can be adapted to meet the customer's requirements. Technical specifications can include features such as sealing method, vessel aspect ratio, high-pressure hardware brand, mixing, heating, cooling, gas or liquid sampling capability, drain valve, and other features.

    In standard configuration, the LELRSET500 Series laboratory reactor is equipped with a stirring device with the LELRSET500 SMS magnetic coupling, a heating jacket, a control panel, and three outlets with needle valves and rupture membranes. The heating jacket is equipped with a protective cover and a thermal insulation layer. All installation components are securely fixed on an aluminum frame. The installation can be made in both tabletop and floor-standing configurations.

    Features

    • Thanks to the small volume, the reactor can quickly reach its working parameters. This significantly reduces the experiment time and ensures accelerated reaction product formation. Working with small volumes is safer.
    • Autoclaves with small volumes allow the user to obtain a quality installation at a better price. In addition, achieving high pressure and temperature readings is easier in smaller chemical reactors. The smaller the volume, the higher the parameters.
    • The installation can be made in a tabletop configuration, which allows for significant space savings in the laboratory.

    Fast and accurate heating

    Thanks to the minimal gap between the heating element and the body of the laboratory autoclave, efficient heat transfer from the element to the product is achieved. There is a heat-insulating layer and a protective casing around the heating element.

    Magnetic stirrer

    The LELRSET500 Series laboratory autoclave can be equipped with a magnetic stirrer device. The magnetic coupling ensures efficient mixing of the medium in a configuration isolated from electronic components.

    Valves

    The reactor lid has 3 ports. 2 inlet/outlet ports are used for connecting needle valves. The 3rd port is intended for connecting a rupture membrane. The central hole is used for connecting a magnetic stirrer.

    Heating jacket

    The heating jacket is located as close as possible to the body of the laboratory autoclave. To reduce heat loss, the jacket is equipped with thermal insulation and a protective cover.

    Impeller of a mixer

    The impeller of a mixer can be replaced with any other. It is possible to feed substances through the shaft of the mixer. All components of the magnetic mixer can be disassembled for cleaning.

    Frame for component fixation

    All components of the setup are mounted on a lightweight and sturdy aluminum frame. The reactor vessel with the heating jacket can be moved along the vertical axis. The reactor vessel can be extracted separately.

    The LELRSET500 line of laboratory autoclaves is equipped with FITOK brand fittings. Upon request, the installation can be equipped with fittings from other brands.

  • Sapphire cell Mixing device High-pressure precision pump
    The reactor can be equipped with sapphire windows. These windows allow for visual observation of processes occurring under thermobaric conditions. The reactor vessel can be entirely made of sapphire. A mixing device with a magnetic coupling provides efficient mixing of fluids with different viscosities under conditions of high pressure and temperature. A plunger precision high-pressure pump delivers substances with a maximum pressure of 1000 bar and an accuracy of 0.0005 ml.

    The control unit allows for monitoring and recording of experimental parameters during the reaction process. The control unit can be equipped with either a touchscreen or can output data to a PC. The cooling system is designed for fast and efficient cooling of the reactor contents. The system can be cooled by air, liquid, or a heat transfer fluid. The cooling system is made of materials that are corrosion-resistant in the autoclave's working environment. One of the most common options in medium-sized reactors. The sampling system consists of a dip tube, three shut-off valves, and a sampling cylinder.

    The material container provides convenient loading and easy removal of material from the reactor housing. The size of the cells can be changed upon the customer's request. The container is typically made of mesh material with a 1x1 mm cell. The heating jacket can be mounted directly on the reactor housing. Additionally, the heating element can be installed on a special heat-conducting metal sleeve. The gap between the sleeve and the reactor is minimal. The rotary mechanism is necessary for convenient unloading and loading of materials. Additionally, the rotary mechanism allows for flipping the container 180 degrees.
