Chemical Fow Reactor LECFRSET5000 Series
The Chemical Fow Reactor LECFRSET5000 Series opens up new possibilities for your laboratory. The setup is perfect for studying material aging and investigating the corrosion resistance of various materials. With a sufficient internal volume, it is possible to place multiple samples at once. There are special holders for samples on the inside of the lid, which are equipped with ceramic insulators to prevent contact between the sample and the reactor metal.
The flow chemical reactor can maintain thermobaric conditions with high precision for a long time (up to 10,000 hours for the L+ model). Thanks to the intelligent heating system of the internal environment, a stable temperature is maintained inside the autoclave even in flow mode. Temperature fluctuations (when using deionized water) do not exceed 0.2 degrees Celsius. The temperature controller ensures constant monitoring and accurate maintenance of temperature throughout the experiment.
The flow chemical reactor has special thermal insulation for the reactor body and lid, which minimizes heat loss, allowing for high temperatures with low power consumption. The lid of the reactor is sealed with a special metal sealing ring. The material of the sealing ring can be selected according to the specific experiment. In addition to the metal ring, the autoclave can be sealed with a graphite seal.

Features:
- The LECFRSET5000 flow reactor has an internal volume of 5 liters, which allows for the placement of various metal and other material samples inside.
- There are special holders for samples on the reactor lid. The sample mounting area is equipped with ceramic insulators.
- The installation has three outlets at the bottom and 5 outlets on the lid, allowing the reactor to operate in flow mode.
- The installation is equipped with special heat-resistant autoclave valves.
Sealing of reactor lid

The sealing of the reactor lid in the LECFRSET5000 can be achieved with either a metal ring made of copper, nickel, or other soft metals, or by using a graphite gasket. There are two sealing contours on the flanges of the body and lid, which can be used separately. The graphite gasket significantly extends the temperature range of the reactor's operation.

Mechanical lifting
Mechanical lifting mechanism allows lifting and lowering of the reactor cover, which significantly simplifies the process of unloading and loading samples into the autoclave vessel.
Digital pressure gauge
Digital pressure gauge displays the pressure inside the reactor with high accuracy and transmits data to the computer through special software. Experiment data is recorded and displayed on a graph.
The temperature control
The temperature control unit selects the optimal power of the heating element, which allows maintaining the set temperature throughout the experiment. The unit is equipped with a special button that allows emergency shutdown of the equipment and stop heating.
Reactor vessel insulation
Insulation of the reactor vessel can reduce heat losses from the system, decrease energy consumption, and accelerate the heating process. Insulation helps to maintain a precise temperature inside the reactor. The temperature difference between the heating element and the surface of the vessel can exceed 500 degrees Celsius.
Frame for fixing components
The steel frame is coated with heat-resistant powder paint that is resistant to mechanical impact and most aggressive environments. The central part of the frame is made of stainless steel and is insulated from the main table with heat-insulating material. The frame is equipped with wheels with a brake mechanism, which facilitates the movement and fixation of the installation.
The software

The software records the experiment parameters and allows for control of the equipment via a computer. The software provides easy setup of experiment parameters and enables selection of the data saving period.
Sample holders

There are special holders for samples of various materials on the reactor lid. Ceramic insulators are located on the horizontal sample bars to hold the material. The holders can be easily removed from the reactor lid due to the threaded connection.
Lifting mechanism

The mechanical lifting mechanism allows for easy lifting and lowering of the reactor lid, which significantly facilitates loading of samples into the reactor. The reactor lid has a considerable weight (about 40 kg). The lifting mechanism has a modular design, which reduces its dimensions during transportation.
Uninterrupted power supply

Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) can be installed in order to ensure stable operation, accurate temperature control, and to prevent unauthorized shutdowns of the equipment and loss of experiment data. The UPS model can be selected by the Client.

The standard configuration of the system is equipped with high pressure and temperature fittings, which ensure tightness and reliable operation at temperatures above 250 degrees Celsius.



Sapphire cell Mixing device High-pressure precision pump The reactor can be equipped with sapphire windows. These windows allow for visual observation of processes occurring under thermobaric conditions. The reactor vessel can be entirely made of sapphire. A mixing device with a magnetic coupling provides efficient mixing of fluids with different viscosities under conditions of high pressure and temperature. A plunger precision high-pressure pump delivers substances with a maximum pressure of 1000 bar and an accuracy of 0.0005 ml. 


Control block Cooling circuit Sampling system The control unit allows for monitoring and recording of experimental parameters during the reaction process. The control unit can be equipped with either a touchscreen or can output data to a PC. The cooling system is designed for fast and efficient cooling of the reactor contents. The system can be cooled by air, liquid, or a heat transfer fluid. The cooling system is made of materials that are corrosion-resistant in the autoclave's working environment. One of the most common options in medium-sized reactors. The sampling system consists of a dip tube, three shut-off valves, and a sampling cylinder.

The size of the cells can be changed upon the customer's request. The container is typically made of mesh material with a 1x1 mm cell. The heating jacket can be mounted directly on the reactor housing. Additionally, the heating element can be installed on a special heat-conducting metal sleeve. The gap between the sleeve and the reactor is minimal. The rotary mechanism is necessary for convenient unloading and loading of materials. Additionally, the rotary mechanism allows for flipping the container 180 degrees.
