Elliptical Conical Hemispherical Chemical Reactor LEECHCR

  • Four commonly used head types on industrial reactor are Elliptical, conical, Hemispherical and Flat type. The standard elliptical type is the most common used for the vessel and high pressure reactor because of its economical and good stress handling.

    Each of our products will go through strict inspection before leaving the factory, we need to obtain the certificate and certificate of the national quality inspection department in order to leave the factory, so the products you receive must be qualified and perfect.

  • Elliptical head

    The standard elliptical type(the width of the head is 4x the head depth) is the most common used in the industrial application. The shape of this ellipsoidal head is more economical, because the height of the head is just a fraction of the diameter. The elliptical tank head is the economical solution for medium pressure tanks due to the reduced metal thickness requirement.

    Hemispherical head

    The most efficient shape for pressurized storage, hemispherical head, has a simple radial geometry(the depth of the head is half the diameter), which is commonly used in large diameter or high pressure applications where material savings are important.

    Conical head

    The conical head is widely set at the vessel bottom, which is used to collect and removal of internal materials and for the connection of two-stage vessels of varying diameters.

    Flat head

    This flat head, working purely in bending, pays for it with a massive thickness, which are usually reserved for processes that require flat inside surfaces.
