Carbon Steel High Pressure Reactor LECSHPR

  • Carbon steel is an alloy between carbon and iron. Also known as mild steel, carbon steel is one of the most commonly used engineering materials. It is favored because it is relatively cheap and widely available.

    It also has good tensile strength and ductility. However, carbon steel is not generally resistant to corrosion which can be an issue in many environments.

    • Volume: 1000-500000liters.
    • Design pressure: maximum up to 200bar
    • Design temperature: Up to 350℃
    • Material:CS, SS, Duplex SS, Hastelloy B/C, Nickel, Titanium, Zirconium, etc.
    • Heating method: Steam; Oil; Electric;
    • Seal type: Magnetic stirrer drives or mechanical stirring

    Construction of material

    Q345R: The most common low alloy steel, because of its economical and high stress strength, which is suitable for the low corrosion and high pressure application.

    15CrMoR: Due to the addition of Cr, Mo and other alloying elements into low carbon steel, the comprehensive properties of steel are greatly improved. It offer good performance to the hydrogen resistance and high temperature application.

    16MnDR:16MnDR is a kind of low temperature pressure vessel steel plate. Minimum operating temperature can reach to -40℃.

    Note: When steel cladding plates adoptted, carbon steel is considered as the high stress strength base plate for resisting the innner pressure!
