Cooling Circuit For Autoclave LECCA

  • The cooling circuit for a chemical reactor allows efficient cooling of the product inside the reactor. The heat carrier is typically a substance based on glycerin or water. The coil can be connected to an additional cooler (chiller) or to a liquid nitrogen circulation line.

The cooling circuit is made of corrosion-resistant material. Usually, the circuit is made of the same material as the autoclave body and cover. The circuit can be equipped with additional radiators to improve cooling efficiency. In case of equipping the installation with an additional chiller, the temperature control of the circuit is carried out by the central control unit.

The cooling circuit for a chemical reactor can be equipped with a precision temperature control system. In this case, the temperature of the environment can be set with an accuracy of 0.1 °C. The accuracy of temperature maintenance allows maintaining stable thermobaric conditions throughout the experiment.
